Another fabulous treat: a brilliant balboa workshop on 24th November by Andrew joined by the superb dancer Emiliya before Balboa Beckons with the amazing Jim Wynn Swingtet!
Andrew and Emiliya will be teaching a "flow and connection" balboa workshop.
Andrew Wilson is known for his enthusiasm and infectious energy both on the dance floor and in classes, creating comfortable conversational dances and prioritising responsive feedback in his teaching. A regular at European mix’n’match finals, Andrew has won the Studio Hop Fast Feet competition two years in a row and placed 2nd in the Advanced Mix’n’Match at SnowBall and in the Battle of Rome Strictly.
Emiliya Bazlyankova is fascinated by the connection between mind, body, and movement. With a keen focus on personal expression, she brings a unique blend of creativity and authenticity to every step. She is the founder of the balboa scene in Bulgaria. A regular finalist at European balboa events, Emiliya has won numerous first and second place finishes, notably BalLove and Snowball.
Jim Wynn Swingtet: This band is simply fabulous and what’s more they really understand about playing for dancers. They bring excitement and joy to every dance floor they play for. We are thrilled they will be playing for us again.

Parking at Old Headington Village Hall
If you are planning to come by car, there are some parking spaces at the hall (but please do not block entry to the hut at the back which belongs to the guides), and plenty more free parking less than half a mile away down the road: on Dunstan Road itself, or Foxwell Drive, Halliday Hill or Saxon Way.
